DO NOT use silver polishing cloths or jewellery cleaners on gold plating as this will encourage tarnishing. Use a very soft cloth or cotton ball to wipe any dust or dirt away. You can also use warm soapy water but ensure the item is completely dry before storing away. To keep this item in best condition when it is not being worn: store away from air, preferably in a plastic bag or wrapped in acid free tissue.
